All eggs are shipped 1-3 day priority mail, and held at your local post office for pickup, to minimize time in the delivery vehicles. We ship only the freshest eggs to you for maximum viability. We include a hatching guide with every egg order.

***HATCHING EGG DISCLAIMER:
Eggs are a gamble. There is no guarantee of hatchability when you purchase fertile eggs through the mail or in person. Even the freshest eggs, under ideal conditions, don’t always develop and hatch. We usually see a 80-90% hatch rate at our farm, which I am happy with. With shipped eggs, I consider 50% an excellent hatch rate. Shipping the eggs can greatly reduce hatchability. We have had shipped eggs hatch out 100% and some none at all. That is simply the risk of hatching eggs, especially shipped eggs.
Remember, lack of any development (showing clear when candled) does NOT equal infertility. Many factors can cause a fresh, fertile egg to become inviable and fail to develop.
We sell the exact same eggs to you that we put in our own incubator every week, so we are constantly tracking fertility. We only sell eggs from flocks with proven excellent fertility. We do our best to package your eggs carefully and send extras when available, and we have had very good experience with shipping eggs via the USPS. However, we have no control over the eggs once they leave the farm. We cannot control the conditions of the eggs once in the possession of the postal service, such as temperature fluctuations, handling practices of the boxes, air pressure changes (when shipped via plane), x-raying, etc. We also have no control over your individual incubator, broody hen, or incubation techniques.
Please know that you bear all the risk and responsibility when buying hatching eggs.
No guarantees are offered.
